Interim Sales Ledger Clerk - Hayle - Circa: £28,000 FTE

Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively engaged by one of our longstanding clients, a prominent and long established services business. The company seeks to recruit an interim Sales Ledger Clerk to join them as soon as possible. The role will be full time, based at the company’s headquarters in Hayle and will operate on an ongoing temporary basis (no defined end date at this stage). 

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied role with a core focus in the following areas:

- Creation and distribution of customer invoices

- Maintenance of all sales ledger accounts 

- Administration of payments received via multiple income streams

- Balance sheet reconciliations

- Assisting customers with invoice queries

- Generating customer statements

- Monitoring the aged debt book and liaising with Credit Control

- Ad hoc assistance with accounting projects

We’re looking for a candidate with strong experience gained in either an accounts receivable or payable environment, and with particular attention to accuracy and timely creation and processing of invoices and customer statements. This is a particularly busy function within the business where no two days are likely to be the same, so a sound understanding of the AR lifecycle would be highly advantageous. Whilst a part/full AAT qualification would be advantageous, on this occasion we are more focussed on experience in a similar role.
